BIOGRAPHY

Doctor Sampietro, a specialist in General Surgery, is the Director of the Division of General and Hepato-Bilio-Pancreatic Surgery at ASST Rhodense and Adjunct Professor at the University of Milan and the University of Rome – Tor Vergata. He performs surgical procedures on the digestive system, gallbladder, and bile ducts, and for gallbladder wall pathology, using laparotomy, laparoscopy, and robotic techniques, in both adults and pediatric patients. He’s a specialist in the treatment of intestinal neoplasms and inflammatory bowel disease and he has personally performed over 3,500 surgical procedures and is the author of over 150 scientific publications in international journals.
